Organs or tissues that are transplanted within the same person's body are called autografts and when from a different person is called allograft. It can either be from cadaveric source or living donor.
Organs that can be transplanted in a human body are kidneys, liver, heart, lungs, pancreas and intestines. Transplantation medicine is a complex branch of medicine.
