He runs a dedicated Obesity and Metabolic Surgery program in Chennai at Fortis Malar where the department’s performance is comparable to results of the best centres around the world.
He carries with him an extremely safe approach towards Bariatric Surgery where patients are optimized prior to the surgery which helps in extremely fast recovery and return to normal activities within a few days. He also has special interests in Advanced GI Laparoscopic Procedures with special interest in Hernias, Colo-Rectal, and Upper GI surgeries.
