Dr. Shabber Z has established Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospital Bangalore in 2002. He started SENTINAL LYMPHNODE BIOPSY for Breast Cancer in 2004 and Radioisotope Occult Lesion Localization (ROLL) to treat Breast Cancer in 2005. He is one of the first in India to start Minimally Invasive Radio Guided Para Thyroid surgeries (MIRP). He has been Clinical Fellow in Breast Services Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York and Clinical Fellow in Thoracic Surgery at FachKrenkenhaus, Coswig Germany during February 2011 and holds Fellowship in Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy after Cytoreductive Surgery at European Surgical Institute, Hamburg, March 2011 and a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery at Hackensack Medical Centre, New Jersey, USA, July 2011.
